Privacy Protection

Privacy Policy

We take your privacy seriously. Please read the following carefully.

Clash is an open-source proxy tool that runs locally on the user's device. This software does not collect, upload, or store any user personal data. All your network traffic is transmitted between your own device and the proxy servers you configure, independently of the project's development team.

1. Information We Collect

Clash (including the Mihomo core and clients for various platforms) does not collect any personally identifiable information, including but not limited to:

  • Personal identifiers such as name, email, or phone number
  • Hardware identifiers like IMEI or MAC address
  • User browsing history or DNS query history
  • Proxy node addresses, subscription links, or other configuration content
  • Usage data such as traffic volume or connection logs

All configuration files (YAML), node information, and rule lists are saved only on your local device and are never sent to any third-party servers.

2. Network Requests

Clash may initiate the following network requests during operation, all determined by your configuration and independent of the development team:

  • Subscription Updates: Periodically pulls the latest node list from the remote URL you configure.
  • Rule Set Updates: Downloads the latest routing rules from your configured source addresses.
  • DNS Resolution: Initiates queries to the DNS servers specified in your configuration.
  • Proxy Traffic: Forwards network requests through your own proxy nodes.

This informational website may use third-party CDN resources like Google Fonts, which have their own independent privacy policies.

3. Cookies and Local Storage

This informational website may use the following local storage technologies:

  • localStorage: Saves your language preferences, theme settings, and other UI configurations.
  • sessionStorage: Saves temporary session state information.

This data is stored only locally in your browser and is never uploaded to any server. You can clear this data at any time via your browser settings.

4. Third-party Services

When using Clash, you establish connections with third-party proxy service providers of your choice. Please note:

  • The privacy policies of third-party proxy services are set by them and are unrelated to this project.
  • This project is not responsible for the data processing practices of any third-party service providers.
  • We recommend carefully reading the privacy policies when choosing a proxy service.
